When you write in, popping these in your message gets us to an answer quicker:

• The app name and its version (find it in Settings → About inside the app).
• Your device and OS version — e.g. iPhone 14, iOS 17.4.
• What you expected versus what actually happened. Screenshots are gold.
• For anything billing-related, the order ID or receipt from the App Store / Google Play.

03Quick answers

I lost my progress. Many of our apps sync through iCloud or Google. Sign in with the same account on the new device, open the app once, and give it a few seconds to catch up.

Refunds. Apple and Google process refunds for purchases and subscriptions directly — we can't issue them ourselves, but forward us a valid case and we'll happily vouch for it.

Cancel a subscription. Manage it from your store account: on iOS, Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; on Android, Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions.

Privacy or data request. See our Privacy Policy, or email us and we'll sort it.

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") applies to the mobile apps, games, and related services published by Truebit Studio ("Truebit", "we", "us", "our") on the App Store, Google Play and other platforms (together, the "Apps"). Where we decide why and how your personal data is processed, we act as the data controller. By using the Apps, you confirm you have read and understood this Policy. If you don't agree with it, please don't use the Apps.

01Information we may collect

Depending on the App and the permissions you grant, we and our partners may collect the following categories of information:

Gameplay & basic data

• A pseudonymous user or device identifier we generate to recognise your install.
• Your in-app settings and preferences.
• Session length, progress, scores, levels reached and other in-app events.
• In-app purchases you make and content you create, upload or share inside an App.

Advertising data

In free, ad-supported Apps, advertising partners and SDKs may collect, depending on your permissions: your device make, model and operating system; device properties such as screen size, language, time zone and country; network and connection type; IP address; your advertising identifier (a resettable ID that doesn't reveal your name); and data about which ads you saw or interacted with.

Analytics data

• Your device ID, operating system version, make and model.
• Install source and first-open data (e.g. which ad a download came from).
• Feature usage, session timing, and crash, performance and diagnostic logs.

Information you give us

If you email us or contact support, we receive whatever you include — your message, your email address, and any attachments. In Apps with AI or creation features, we process content you actively submit (text, images or media) only to return a result; it's encrypted in transit and kept no longer than needed. We never use it for biometric identification.

Third-party sign-in

If an App lets you sign in through a third party (for example Apple, Google or a social platform), we receive the limited profile and technical data that service makes available so the App can connect to your account. Their handling of your data is governed by their own policies.

02Why we process your data & our legal basis

We process personal data only where we have a lawful basis to do so. Depending on your location, that basis is one of: performing our contract with you (providing the App you asked for), our legitimate interests (keeping Apps working, improving them, securing them, and running our business), your consent (for example, personalised advertising where consent is required), or compliance with a legal obligation.

• To provide the Apps — save your progress and settings, deliver features, and make sure things work.
• To improve and fix — analyse usage and crashes to find bugs and make the Apps better.
• To show and measure ads — in free Apps, to serve advertising and understand its performance.
• To support you — answer your messages and handle requests.
• To keep things safe and lawful — detect fraud, cheating and abuse, and meet legal obligations.

03Tracking technologies

We and our partners use standard technologies such as SDKs, device identifiers, cookies, pixels and similar tools to recognise your device, remember your preferences, measure performance, deliver and measure advertising, and protect against fraud. The exact technologies depend on the App. You can limit many of them through your device's privacy and ad settings (for example, by resetting or limiting your advertising identifier). We do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals but we honour recognised opt-out preference signals where the law requires.

04Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data for money. We share it only as described here:

• Service providers — analytics, cloud hosting, crash reporting, customer support and anti-fraud vendors who process data on our behalf under contract.
• Advertising partners — in free Apps, ad networks and measurement partners that collect data through their SDKs to serve and measure ads. Under some privacy laws (e.g. in California), this activity can count as "sharing" or a "sale".
• Legal & safety — authorities or others where disclosure is required by law, or needed to enforce our terms, prevent fraud, or protect rights and safety.
• Business transfers — if Truebit is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, data may transfer as part of that deal.

In free, ad-supported Apps we may work with the partners below. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it uses data collected through its SDK. The exact set used varies by App, and this list may change over time.

06Automated decisions & anti-cheat

Some Apps use automated methods, without human involvement, to detect cheating, fraud or abuse, and may restrict or block accounts as a result. If an automated decision significantly affects you, you can contact us to request human review, express your view, and contest the outcome.

07Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, or as the law requires. If you delete an App or stop using it, much of the associated data is no longer linked to you; we may retain limited data where necessary to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Aggregated or anonymised data may be kept longer for analysis.

09California privacy rights

If you're a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the rights described above, including the right to know the categories of personal information we collect (identifiers, commercial and in-app activity information, and inferences), the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to. While we don't sell personal information for money, allowing advertising partners to collect data through their SDKs may be treated as "sharing" or a "sale" under California law — you can opt out via your device settings or by contacting us. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of users under 16.

10International data transfers

We and our partners may process data in countries other than yours, including outside the UK and EEA. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or transfers to countries recognised as providing adequate protection. You can contact us for more detail on the mechanism used.

11Children

Our Apps are not directed to children under 13 (or the higher age set by your local law), and we don't knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it promptly. Apps aimed at a general audience are designed to limit data collection accordingly.

12Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we handle, including access controls and encryption in transit where appropriate. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your information with care and limit access to those who need it.

13Third-party services

The Apps may link to or interact with third-party services (app stores, social platforms, advertisers). We're not responsible for the privacy practices of those services, and we encourage you to review their policies. We're also not responsible for modified or unofficial versions of our Apps.

14Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and we'll signal material changes in-app or by other reasonable means. Continuing to use the Apps after an update means you accept the revised Policy.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the mobile apps, games, websites and related services published by Truebit Studio ("Truebit", "we", "us", "our") — together, the "Apps". By downloading, installing, accessing or using any of the Apps, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you don't agree, don't use the Apps.

01Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or older where your country requires it, to use the Apps, and old enough to form a binding contract. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Apps with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for your use. By using the Apps you confirm you meet these requirements.

02Your licence to use the Apps

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited licence to install and use the Apps for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the rules of the platform you got the App from. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by us and our licensors.

03Things you agree not to do

To keep the Apps safe and fair for everyone, you agree not to:

• sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute or commercially exploit the Apps;
• copy, modify, translate or make derivative works of the Apps except where the law allows;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble or try to extract source code, except to the limited extent the law permits;
• use the Apps to build a competing or similar product or service;
• cheat, exploit bugs for unfair advantage, or use bots, scrapers or automated tools against the Apps;
• interfere with, disrupt, overload or attempt to breach the security of the Apps or their servers;
• introduce viruses or other harmful code, or remove any proprietary notices; or
• use the Apps for any unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purpose.

04Your content

Some Apps let you create or submit content — notes, images, levels, in-game creations, reviews and the like ("User Content"). You keep ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant Truebit a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, display and adapt it solely as needed to operate and improve the Apps. You're responsible for your User Content and confirm you have the rights to share it and that it doesn't break the law or these Terms.

You agree your User Content won't be unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, harassing, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. We may remove User Content or suspend access if content breaks these Terms, and we may disclose your identity to third parties claiming your content infringes their rights, where required.

05Purchases & subscriptions

Some Apps offer paid features, one-off in-app purchases or subscriptions, with pricing shown before you buy. Billing is handled by your app store (Apple or Google), not by us. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel before the current period ends. You manage and cancel purchases through your store account settings. Refunds are handled by the store under its policies — we can't issue them directly, but we'll help where we reasonably can.

06App store terms

Your use of an App you obtained from a store is also subject to that store's terms (for example, Apple Media Services Terms or Google Play Terms). The following apply to Apps downloaded from the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are between you and Truebit only, not Apple. Truebit, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
• To the extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation for the App, and any claims relating to the App not meeting a legal warranty are our responsibility, not Apple's.
• Apple isn't responsible for product-liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet legal requirements, or claims under consumer-protection or similar law.
• If a third party claims the App infringes their intellectual property, Truebit, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defence and resolution of that claim.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
• You confirm you're not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist-supporting", and that you're not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

07Intellectual property

The Apps — including their code, design, names, logos, artwork, audio and other content — belong to Truebit Studio or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. "Truebit", the Truebit logo, and our app names and marks are our trademarks. Nothing in these Terms gives you any right to use them beyond what's stated here without our prior written permission.

08Copyright complaints

We respect intellectual property and expect users to do the same. If you believe content in an App infringes your copyright, send us a notice at truebitbox@gmail.com including: your contact details; identification of the work and the allegedly infringing material; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorised; and a statement that your notice is accurate and that you're the rights holder or authorised to act for them. We may remove infringing material and terminate repeat infringers.

09Third-party links & ads

The Apps may contain links to third-party sites and may display third-party ads, including inside free Apps. We don't control and aren't responsible for third-party content, sites or ads, and your dealings with them are at your own risk and subject to their terms and privacy policies.

10Disclaimer of warranties

The Apps are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Apps will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free or free of harmful components, or that defects will be fixed. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Truebit and its team won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Apps. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Apps won't exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the relevant App in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).

12Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Truebit and its team from claims, damages, losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Apps, or your User Content.

13Suspension & termination

You can stop using the Apps at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Apps, and we may change, suspend or discontinue any App with or without notice. When access ends, the licence granted to you ends too. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits and indemnity) will continue to apply.

14Resolving disputes

If you have a problem, please contact us first at truebitbox@gmail.com — most issues can be sorted informally. If we can't resolve a dispute within a reasonable time, it will be handled in accordance with the governing law below. To the extent permitted by law, disputes will be resolved on an individual basis, not as part of a class or collective action.

15Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Truebit Studio operates, setting aside its conflict-of-laws rules, and without removing any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Any export-control laws that apply to the Apps must be respected, and you confirm you're not barred from using them under those laws.

16Electronic communications

By using the Apps you consent to receive communications from us electronically — including in-app notices and emails — and you agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

17General

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Truebit about the Apps. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect and the provision is adjusted to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a business transfer. Additional terms may apply to specific Apps or features and, where they do, form part of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and we'll signal material changes in-app or by other reasonable means. Continuing to use the Apps after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
